In this interview, retired four-star German Air Force General Harald Kujat – former Inspector General of the Bundeswehr and Chairman of the NATO Military Committee – offers a rare blend of high-level military experience and clear-eyed diplomatic realism. As the most senior military official, he was the interface between the political leadership and the military. It was his job to draft the war plans, of how many tanks, troops and military hardware was needed for any and all war scenario plans. He, more than anyone, understands the true cost of war. He also served a one of the chief negotiators with the Russians in the 1990s and early 2000s, having personally met Putin himself. This experience provided him perspective on the situation now and and what it would take to resolve the current conflict.

With talk of American bases and a strange push for Greenland, one must to ask: is Scandinavia becoming the next war zone? Thorbjørn Sassersson is here to help with insights. He is an award-winning Swedish journalist who runs an independent news outlet.

She is an energy analyst and author of 14 books on energy-related and other topics, served 10 years in the foreign service, was Austria’s Foreign Minister from 2017 to 2019, and is fluent in Classical Arabic among other languages.

On January 3, 2026, at around 02:00 a.m. local time, the world is once again witness how a country arbitrarily attempts to assert its hegemonic interests with brutal force and without regard for human lifes, as the US launches a military invasion of the sovereign nation of Venezuela.

This act of war is the culmination of more than 1,000 years of unilateral punitive measures by the USA and the EU against Venezuela that violate international law. Furthermore, a naval blockade, also imposed in violation of international law, has been in place for over five months, escalating the situation with the murder of more than 100 crew members and the sinking of their fishing boats, as well as the additional illegal closure of Venezuela's airspace. a series of
violations of international law and a multitude of international laws as well as the Charter of the United Nations that is unprecedented in the world.

The members of the Society for Peace and International Solidarity (GeFiS e.V.) strongly condemn the United States' attacks against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which violate international law. This imperialist aggression constitutes a criminal act against a peaceful people and should be classified as an act of terrorism. We demand the release of the president and his wife, as well as the immediate cessation of all acts of war against Venezuela!
