Middle East Eye reports from the ground in London, where more than one million people gathered in what organisers described as the largest combined pro-Palestine and anti-far-right protest in British history. MEE spoke to demonstrators who marched in solidarity with Gaza and called for an end to the US-Israeli bombing of Iran. Protesters said that while the war on Iran has dominated headlines, Israel continues its assault on Gaza and restrictions on humanitarian aid. Many stressed that the killing of civilians, including women, children and families, must not be ignored, and criticised the UK government’s support for Israel, including military assistance.
